What you can see in the sky
Full summer Milky Way over the Needles and Green River overlooks, with excellent views of the winter constellations from the open mesa top.
Best time of year
Spring and fall nights are cool and clear; summer days are brutally hot but nights are pleasant. Aim for a few nights either side of new moon.
