About Cattle Point

Cattle Point in Victoria's Oak Bay neighbourhood is one of only two Urban Star Parks recognized by the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada — a rare example of a genuinely dark viewpoint sitting inside a city. Local streetlighting around Uplands Park is deliberately controlled, and the open waterfront looks straight out over Haro Strait.
