Site

Blomidon Provincial Park crowns the cliffs of Cape Blomidon over the Bay of Fundy's Minas Basin, where the world's highest tides swing beneath 183-metre red sandstone bluffs. The park's rural Annapolis Valley setting keeps light pollution low, and the Look-off and campground fields both give a clear shot at the night sky.

Drive from Toronto: ≈ 18 hours east via Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia's Highway 101 — most visitors fly into Halifax and drive about 1.5 hours to the Annapolis Valley.

Best time of year: Late summer through early autumn, once the park's operating season is in full swing (mid-May to mid-October) and the Bay of Fundy fog has thinned.
