Kouchibouguac National Park on New Brunswick's Acadian coast pairs warm shallow lagoons with a RASC-designated dark sky, and its annual Fall Star Fest — run with the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada — turns campground loops into pop-up observing sessions. The flat coastal terrain means very little to block a horizon once the sun goes down.

Drive from Toronto: ≈ 14–15 hours east via Quebec City and Highway 20/11 into New Brunswick, or fly into Moncton and drive about 1 hour north.

Best time of year: Late summer into September, timed with the park's Fall Star Fest for guided sessions, or any clear night around the new moon in the shoulder seasons.
