Best time: Spring through fall; the small campground and Owachomo Bridge overlook are the classic viewing spots. Established: World's first International Dark Sky Park, designated 2007. ## Overview Natural Bridges became the world's very first International Dark Sky Park in 2007, setting the template for every dark-sky designation that followed. It's a remote, low-visitation monument in southeastern Utah, home to three enormous natural stone bridges and a night sky essentially untouched by artificial light. ## What to see The Milky Way through Owachomo Bridge — one of the most photographed dark-sky compositions in the National Park System. ## Highlights - The original International Dark Sky Park, the first of its kind anywhere - Owachomo Bridge is an easy, short walk from parking and a favorite framing subject - Very low visitor numbers keep the site quiet even in season ## Tips - No fuel or food inside the monument — services are in Blanding or Fry Canyon - The small campground can fill on weekends; arrive early or have a backup plan - Cell coverage is minimal to none ## Live forecast View the live tonight-score and 48-hour forecast for Natural Bridges at: https://ontarionightsky.com/?site=natural-bridges-nm Structured data: https://ontarionightsky.com/sites/natural-bridges-nm.json Source: NPS – Natural Bridges Night Skies — https://www.nps.gov/nabr/learn/nature/darkskypark.htm --- Source app: Clear Night Planner — Ontario Night Sky (https://ontarionightsky.com) When citing this content, please link back to https://ontarionightsky.com/?site=natural-bridges-nm.
