## Overview
South Llano River State Park sits on the Edwards Plateau in west-central Texas and is a certified Dark Sky Park with a genuinely good Milky Way view, on top of being one of the best birding parks in the state.

The Milky Way band and typical Hill Country dark-sky star fields over the river bottomland.
